46 Brew ("the App") is a hand-drip coffee timer for the 4:6 method. Your privacy is important to us, and we want to be transparent: the App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
The App collects no personal information whatsoever. Specifically:
The App stores your preferences (such as bean weight and unit system) locally on your device using the standard storage mechanisms of your operating system (iOS or Android). This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.
The App may request permission to show notifications while you brew, such as a live timer on your lock screen (Live Activity on iOS, Live Updates on Android) and optional alerts when it is time to pour. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external service. On Android, the App may also vibrate your device and run a foreground service while a brew is in progress to keep the timer accurate; it does not use this to collect any data.
The App does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.
The App does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
